1. Sweat Must go-off: It is a well-known fact that our bodies naturally cool us down with secretions composed of water and, depending on our unique body’s composition, different minerals, lactate & urea. Now, just ask yourself, would you like this build up to occur? Probably not. Make sure you dry clean the dress properly, otherwise the sweat will affect the elasticity of the fiber. 

2. Look for Stains: During the cleaning process, every dry cleaner should inspect the dress thoroughly. In addition, your dry cleaner should inspect what exactly stained your garment. This will help your garment receive the proper treatment. 

3. Wet Cleaning: Maybe, your label says Dry-clean only, you should consider a wet cleaning method by a highly trained specialist. Talking about the method, it is a method of dry cleaning that uses water as its base instead of ordinary dry cleaning solvents. 

4. Don’t heat the dress: Spandex and nylon dresses are not favorable to heat. If you put it in a dryer, then the elastic fibers may break which may even weaken the quality of the cloth. The best way you can use is to put the dress on a breathable surface. Always keep in mind that while ironing a bandage dress, make sure the heat should be low. Avoid extreme steam as it can cause damage to the elastic fibers.
